2023 Business Planning Event
Futureproof your 2023 with forecasting, insights, strategy and action planning. Not sure where to start? No sweat—we’ve got you covered.
Date: 12th of January
Time: 10 am - 4 pm
Location: Bristol City Centre (TBC)
What to Expect?
Business naturally breeds chaos, but your role as a leader is to set the vision to foster confidence while being mindful of your personal capacity and wellbeing. Your business vision is the foundation of your strategic planning. Your life balance is the foundation of consistency.
From email marketing campaigns to optimise your website for mobile to encouraging online reviews—there are many ways to grow your business. The critical is to first have a plan that you can execute.
The best way to grow your business is to stay active and constantly test. You will identify your customers' needs, test your hypothesis, iterate, and test again.
Even the most successful business needs to watch the bottom line. Always leave extra padding in your budget for things you overlooked or didn't account for in your expansion. Even small things can derail your budget. Keep your eyes on the bigger picture AND the bottom line. Ensure your investments make sense for your dreams AND your bank account.
You'll be guided through your finances to date and craft a better understanding for your financial health in 2023 and beyond.
You're a badass at this whole business ownership thing. We already know that. But if you're trying to do everything alone, you might limit yourself to potential growth. A business powered by systems can handle the multi-layered demands of expansion.
You will review your current operations to see what aspects are repetitive or monotonous and make it your goal to automate or outsource as much as possible to remain focused on business growth.
Business growth is not without risks. It is sometimes necessary to move outside your comfort zone to make the right decisions. By focusing on the end goal and proactively identifying potential roadblocks, you'll set yourself up for success, even when your next move feels like a risk.
You will walk away from the event feeling energised, focused and prepared for 12 months of realistic action planning.
When money, time, and expertise are in short supply, it can be tempting to go with the quick (or cheap) fix and invest in essential solutions or stick to the ones you know about.
But things are not always what they seem.
Yes, that dream solution may be a stretch and have an intimidating learning curve. But ending up in a patchwork maze of multiple inexpensive and inefficient systems that only appear economical will cost money in the long run. Work with your 5 carefully selected attendees that match your business growth phase to idenify the best solutions.
Description
Business planning is the link between a great idea and true success and growth. More of an annual activity than a one-time event, it requires ongoing attention to detail and time investment.
Micro and Small business owners need to look at the big picture to understand better what will and won’t work for their businesses. They must determine where potential obstacles might exist and how a proposed initiative would support the vision and objectives, no matter how big or small.
You can bridge the gap between vision and execution by clearly defining what you want to achieve and developing strategically executable plans.
Although creating a successful 2023 plan is a significant achievement, implementing it effectively is challenging. Implementing a plan requires the development of action plans. It also involves assigning responsibility for the necessary actions to individual employees, freelancers and suppliers.
After attending this event, you will be in a better position to implement your 2023 plans effectively. This can help you achieve your business owner goals and support your growth goals.
